Claude Augsburger – Babel Tower

Two basic geometrical shapes, the square and the diamond, are cleverly juxtaposed to build a tall column, but its real interest lies in the use of colour. In his "painter's sculptures",  the artist seeks out tensions, vibrations and harmonies that bring colour to life and attract the viewer.
